Torii Kiyotsune (鳥居清経)

Torii Kiyotsune (鳥居清経) was a Japanese print artist active in the mid-eighteenth century. His documented artistic career spans the years 1758 through 1774. Kiyotsune specialized in ukiyo-e prints and illustrated books, a form of art central to the Edo period.

Museum records document the attribution of nine works to the artist, comprising seven individual prints and two books. His subjects varied, ranging from actor portraits to specific narrative scenes.
