Natan Al'tman
Natan Al'tman was an artist whose documented professional activity spanned the period from 1913 through 1919. Al'tman’s known output heavily emphasized graphic media and published works, with current institutional collections representing 12 periodicals, two illustrated books, and a single drawing.
The Museum of Modern Art holds works by Al'tman, establishing the historical and museum-quality significance of his graphic production. Documented works include contributions to major publications, such as Iskusstvo kommuny 4 (The Art of the Commune 4) and Iskusstvo kommuny 10 (The Art of the Commune 10). Additionally, two graphic plates from the volume Vzorval' (Explodity) are held in collections: Plate (folio 29) from Vzorval' (Explodity) and Plate (folio 30) from Vzorval' (Explodity).

Documentation of these works in collections like MoMA supports interest in the artist’s contribution to graphic design during the critical decade of the 1910s.
