LeRoy Little Cigars

LeRoy Little Cigars was a producer and issuer of printed materials, active around 1898. Fifteen prints associated with the brand are currently represented in institutional collections, confirming its role in late nineteenth-century commercial printing and collectibles.

The known body of work consists primarily of the "Generals" series (T63), issued in 1898. These historical prints feature detailed portraits of American military officers. Individual identified works from this series include Adjutant General Henry C. Corbin, U.S. Army, Brigadier General Francis V. Greene, U.S. Volunteers, Brigadier General Henry W. Lawton, U.S. Army, and Brigadier General Jacob F. Kent, U.S. Army.

These high-quality prints are preserved in museum collections, most notably at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Due to their age and status, many LeRoy Little Cigars prints have entered the public domain, making the downloadable artwork available for research and reproduction.
