Kawabata Gyokushō

Kawabata Gyokushō was an artist active during the late nineteenth century, documented working in the period between 1887 and 1900.

The body of work attributed to Kawabata Gyokushō largely consists of naturalistic studies and intimate domestic scenes. Thirteen of the artist’s paintings are preserved in museum collections, confirming the importance of their output.
