Works by Johannes van Doetecum are held by institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Surviving examples showcase complex drafting and include Alpine Landscape with a Deep Valley, the distinct depiction Large Alpine Landscape, and genre scenes within the landscape tradition, such as Rustic Solicitude (Solicitudo rustica) and Soldiers at Rest (Milites requiescentes). These Johannes van Doetecum prints are valued for their detail and contribution to the early Northern European landscape movement.
