Israhel van Meckenem; Martin Schongauer

Israhel van Meckenem and Martin Schongauer were pivotal figures whose work spanned the late Gothic and Early Renaissance periods of printmaking, active between approximately 1445 and 1480. Their contributions to the technical mastery of engraving fundamentally shaped Northern European artistic production during this era.
